There are times when Bentley colleagues and clients have ideas for enhancements to SYNCHRO software that they would like to see included on future versions. Bentley invites this type of feedback as we are always trying to improve our applications. There is a link where these suggestions can be submitted.
The Aha! Ideas Page, a hub for innovation in Bentley Communities, is now live. You will be able to see all our products that have Aha! Idea portals. Please go here to submit new ideas, see the status of your previous ideas, and vote and comment on others’ ideas. As an active user, your ideas help us better understand what you really need!
To submit this as a new Idea:
- Make sure you are logged in to Bentley Communities
- Access the Aha! Ideas Page and select your idea’s product
- Click “Add a new idea” and enter the information requested. The more details the better!
- Click “Share Idea”. You are now subscribed to this idea, and unless you opt-out, you will get emails whenever this idea is updated.
- Your idea will now be reviewed directly by the Product Development team and given a status.
- You can come back to the portal at any time to see the status of your idea(s) in each product’s portal.

- You can access each product’s Aha! Ideas Page through Bentley Communities
- You can browse by most recent, trending, and popular ideas
- You can filter ideas by category, or status and search by name
- Portal ideas can be translated into English, Spanish, German, French, and Dutch making it easy to share ideas in the language of your choice

The product managers and development managers periodically review these suggestions. Those enhancement requests that are accepted are then scheduled into development and deployment for future releases based on the priority determined by the product manager and the resources available to implement them. There is no guarantee by Bentley that all suggestions can be, or will be, implemented.
