Option
Description
Which Option to Choose
Assign to this Resource, don't build tree
Creates a single Resource in which multiple objects are grouped when importing one or multiple 3D files.
Use this option when importing equipment.
Add Resource underneath, don't build tree
Creates one Resource for each file, to which any parts are combined within each 3D file name.
Use this option when importing equipment that needs to be assembled.
Assign to this Resource, build tree
Creates multiple Resources with he same tree structure that exists in the corresponding 3D objects list when importing one 3D file. When importing multiple 3D files, the tree structures will be merged.
Use this option if you want to assign objects separately to different tasks, but have caution when importing multiple 3D files as it will merge the tree structures.
Add Resources underneath, build tree
Creates multiple Resources with the same tree structure that exists in the corresponding 3D objects list when importing one or multiple 3D files.
Use this option if you want to assign objects separately to tasks. This option gives you the largest object tree and most options for filtering and assigning resources to tasks.
