I would like to be able to share our Synchro project with subcontractors and collaborators on a monthly basis, in a 'read only' manner so that no future changes can be made by the collaborator. I would like to ensure collaborators can still filter tasks, orbit, hide objects, and leverage the tool set of Synchro beyond that of just a video animation export, but would want to limit the ability to export both 3D and schedule content from the file.

Open Viewer allows model navigation, viewing saved viewpoints and animations and applying saved filters among other things, but does not allow editing or exporting of the schedule or model Additionally, you may password protect models by creating users with passwords and assigning roles to different users to restrict their access to particular items.To create a new user, open the Navigator>Users window and right click to Add.You can use one of the predefined Roles or create your own Roles in Navigator>Roles. For more information on Users and Roles, right click on the window title and choose Help
