How do I speed up or slow down parts of my animation?

There are parts of my animation where nothing happens for a long time and other parts that flash by too quickly to see all the tasks. How do I speed up or slow down parts of my animation? How do I do this without messing up the camera angles I already set up?

You can insert multiple Focus Time keyframes between the start and end of the animation. Imagine, for example, that there are a lot of activities with short durations between 9 and 14 seconds of the animation. I want to slow down the animation to show these activities more clearly.

1. Move the red Focus Time bar to the point in the animation just before the section you want to slow down. Left click in the Focus Time channel of the Animation Editor to add a new keyframe. A yellow diamond will appear there.
2. Move the red Focus Time bar to the point in the animation just after the section you want to slow down. Left click in the Focus Time channel of the Animation Editor to add another new keyframe.
3. I want to move these two Focus Time keyframes farther apart to slow down the animation between these points:

4. Move the red Focus Time bar to the 2nd selected keyframe and add another grey camera keyframe directly above

5. Hold shift and move the yellow keyframe to the left until the duration is sufficient.

6. Hold shift and move the grey keyframe you just added until it lines up with the yellow keyframe again. The camera and focus times now have the same relationship as they did at the beginning.

7. The same process could be used in reverse (hold Shift while moving Focus Time Keyframes closer together) to speed up part of the animation.
