Error: Could not create an output .xls data source. Please install the appropriate ODBC driver.

Export to Microsoft Excel requires the Microsoft Excel ODBC driver, which may not be installed on some x64 bit platforms

To add x64-bit ODBC support please download and install the Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable (or search for "AccessDatabaseEngine_x64.exe")

If you have 32-bit Microsoft Office installed, you will need to install the Microsoft Access Database Engine (x64) from the command prompt
  1. Open cmd.exe
  2. Copy the folder directory for the folder where AccessDatabaseEngine_x64.exe is downloaded
  3. In the command prompt, go to the folder by typing cd then right click to Paste the folder directory (eg. cd C:\Temp). Press Enter
  4. Run AccessDatabaseEngine_x64.exe with the parameter /passive (e.g. AccessDatabaseEngine_x64.exe /passive)  Press Enter

Nothing will appear to happen because all installation dialogs have been suppressed. Check Windows Programs to verify that the program has been installed successfully

Alternatively, you can use Copy as Text to copy table data from Synchro to paste into Excel, and Paste as Text to paste information copied from Excel into Synchro, but this has limited functionality compared with Export/Import from Excel
