The models in the equipment library import by default to (0,0,0) coordinates.

If after importing the equipment, you cannot see the rest of your model anymore, undo the import. Before re-importing the equipment, follow these steps to determine the location of your other models these steps and import the equipment closer to your model:

 1.  Enable the Snapping toolbar and make sure that Snap to Vertex is enabled

 

 

2. Right click in the 3D window and Create>Comment

3. Select the corner of an object and a dialog appears with the point coordinates. Copy the coordinates to a text editor for use later.

 

4. Press Cancel to exit the Comment creation tool

5. When importing the equipment models, on the final screen of the Import dialog you can enter approximate coordinates near where you want the equipment to be located:

 

6. After import, you can use the Edit>Advanced Manipulator tool to move the equipment where you want it
