    Assign by Query

This widget queries 3D elements properties, visually validates the assignments and quantity calculations and assigns the Cost Codes in bulk.

    1. Query the model by selecting a 3D element property, available values, and an operator (equal/not equal, less/greater than, like/not like, etc.). Additional properties can be added using AND logic by clicking the plus icon.
    2. Click on Add group to run multiple queries using OR logic, or for distinct Cost Code assignments. A unique color is assigned to individual query groups for visual validation.
    3. Click on Assign to complete the operation or click on Validate for visual validation of the assignments.

The 3D elements are highlighted with the respective group color. The transparency slider can be used to change the visibility of context models. Additional selected element(s) can be added or delete from individual groups as needed.

Click Assign to complete the Cost Code assignments for each query group.

Click Back to cancel the validation and make further edits to the queries.
    1. Save Query exports a JSON file that can be loaded back into the same or other projects.

Note: Save the queries before assigning them.

    Assignment status

This widget shows the legend for the status of Cost Code assignments to 3D elements -

Unassigned elements do not have a Cost Code assigned are displayed as grey.

Assigned elements have a Cost Code assigned and have successfully calculated the quantities are displayed as green.

Assigned with issues elements have a Cost Code assigned but with errors, and are unable to successfully calculate the quantities, are shown as read and requires further review.

Use the Assignment status slider to turn off the legend color and show the original iModel colors.
