Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (x64), 8 (x64) ,10 (x64) or the latest
Processor: Intel ® Core   i7-3840QM CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 16GB (x64)
System type: 64-Bit Operating System
Pen and touch: No Pen or Touch Input is required
Display adapters: 1 GB graphics card (DirectX compatible)
Display adapters driver: Supported graphics card and drivers for HOOPs 20.x are at: http://developer.techsoft3d.com/hoops/hoops-visualize/graphics-cards/
Disk drive (program file): 1.3 GB hard disk space for installation files
Disk drive (project file): 1 GB for each typical project files
Display: 1 Colour display
Screen Resolution: 1280 x 1024 screen resolution

Ensure that your machine drivers AND/OR Windows updates are of the latest version:

Reset Options to Default 
(This will reset all settings to factory default on this machine.)

• Go to options within SYNCHRO 4D PRO
  • 1. Select Reset
  • 2. Select All

Setting Graphics Mode API

• Go to SYNCHRO Options > 3D View > Advanced >
  • Direct X 11  is the recommended mode of drivers used for SYNCHRO
  • Open GL driver mode are recommended on less powerful machines

 

Network issues

It is important to not whether you are working with a private or Cloud/SWP Project. When working with a hosted project you may experience performance issues that relate to your internal network infrastructure. Our recommendation is to consultant your internal IT support when working in the environment.

 

Project Size issues

Depending on the size of your project you may see decreases in performance. It is important to make sure that you consider optimizing your project, our consultants at Bentley may be able to assist with guidance in this area.

When working with 3rd party tools such as Revit and Navisworks, be sure to check out our available plugins. Our plugins help to export your data into format that works best with SYNCHRO PRO. This can lead to better performance overall with our product.
