The Options dialog contains many settings related to all aspects of SYNCHRO 4D Pro including the time display format and duration display format, auto-save, the customization of the Gantt Chart and 3D View, as well as scheduling and synchronization preferences.

Options

Options dialog can be opened through:

• File tab, move mouse to bottom right, then Options
• Or, Navigator tab > Options
• Or, click the Gear icon in Quick Access Tool

General Settings

Time Display Format - In Options dialog, Expand the General tab, and select Time Display Format. Make adjustments and click OK to apply changes.

Auto Save -  In the Options dialog, expand the General tab, and select Auto Save. Make adjustments as desired and click OK to apply changes.

 

Gantt Chart

Rescheduling Parameters

In Options dialog, expand the Gantt Chart tab, and select Rescheduling > Parameters. In Snap To, choose Minute. Click OK to apply changes.

In Rescheduling > Critical Path, adjust settings to reflect how you would like SYNCHRO 4D Pro to calculate the Critical Path.

Links / Task In Options dialog, expand the Gantt Chart tab, and select Links. Adjust settings for link appearance, link cycles, etc.
 

3D View

In Options dialog, expand the 3D View tab, and select Colors. You can disable or enable and adjust background colors for the selected 3D View or Other Views. You can disable or enable and adjust Selection Highlighting color. Click OK to apply changes.

In Options dialog, expand the 3D View tab, and select Advanced. The following options are recommended for optimized performance when working on large projects.

Driver - Select DirectX 11 Driver.

 

Driver Options - Disable Anti-aliasing.

Settings for 3D Subdivision can also be found in 3D View in the Options dialog.
