Import SP/SPX (SYNCHRO Project Formats)


  1. Open SYNCHRO 4D Pro, Select File > Import > SYNCHRO project.


  2. In the Import SYNCHRO project dialog, locate the .SPX file. Select Open.

    Note: You can find a.SPX file in the Models folder in the downloaded Training dataset.
     
  1. Select Import to import all available attributes. If required, attributes can also be skipped. For example, as this we know that there were no Tasks, Links, Costs, Calendars, Resources, Resource Assignments, Risks, Risk Assessments created in MicroStation, those can be Skipped.


  2. The progress bar will appear to display the status of the import. And a summary of imported objects and attributes will be listed under Output. Upon completion, select Finish.
      

  1. If the Resources were not created through the SYNCHRO plugin export process, they must be created in SYNCHRO before 3D Resources can be assigned to any Tasks.
