How to give permissions to Create a Synchro Control Project?


Giving Permission in Control to Create a Project

To create new projects in SYNCHRO Control a user needs to have one of the following permissions:

These Users are given an elevated role in their company’s Account. This is not a Project-Level Permission that can be given to a User to create Other Projects.

Any user within the Bentley account can be assigned these without approval, but external client accounts require their account Admin to do so.
 

To find a User that has permission to create and give permissions on Control Projects, navigate to https://connect.bentley.com website and ensure you are logged in under your company's account. On the home page, click the drop-down to open "Find My Administrator".

Alternatively, go to https://usermanagement.bentley.com/Profile/, and scroll down to the bottom to find a list of Account Administrators.

To Assign CONNECT Services Admin Role:
 
1. Login to the above link
2. Locate the User
3. Check the box next to the Users Name
4. Click on the key [Modify Roles] and select the CONNECT Services Admin Role from the List.
