Upon creating an audio note via a smart device, your audio file is then sent to our team of professional human transcribers.
Our human transcribers are located domestically all across the United States and are required to have a construction background.
Once the audio file has been received, our human transcribers will listen to the audio and manually transcribe it.
This typed transcription is then available across all of our platforms along with the audio file for playback.
Use a conversational tone. You can talk just as you would talk to a colleague on the phone. Remember that our transcribers are human.
You do not need to speak punctuation, just use inflection to indicate the end of a sentence or the beginning of a new paragraph. However, if you want to be sure to start a new paragraph or have something in list format, simply instruct our transcribers to start a new paragraph or to put this in list format.
Add names and acronyms to the Project Glossary, or you can spell them out. You can add technical jargon to your Glossary
Turning away from the equipment/noise helps improve sound quality. Likewise, turning away from the wind, helps keep the wind from overpowering the audio. We realize that noise on the job site can be sometimes unavoidable.
Be sure to speak directly into your phone. It’s not necessary to speak very loudly, as speaking too loudly can distort the audio..
