Edit the name of an iTwin Design Review Session?

Is there a way to edit the name of an existing iTwin Design Review session?

  • Hi apologies for the delay.  Currently this has not been enabled as the https://review.itwin.bentley.com/ is designed to be transactional in nature.  Is this to correct a spelling mistake at creation or to reflect the evolving workflow of the review session ?
We can implement, but would be interested if this should be a simple rename or a "state" for the review session (ie metadata)

  • Hi Glen - this was specifically for a name change.  I was thinking my session was in a project and could just be tagged with the design stage name.  I discovered that it wasn't associated with a project, so while it was designated as something like "Stage 2 Review" a user wouldn't have had any idea for which project it was a Stage 2 review session.  I guess to answer your question, though, it would be a simple rename.  HOWEVER, in regard to the second option in your question, I did also try to update the iModel I had in there after some earthwork revisions and found that I needed to create a new session for that as well, even though nobody had looked at the first one yet.  So, it would also be nice to be able to update the version of the iModel in the session.

I understand this is in its infancy so I'm just trying to figure out what has and hasn't been incorporated yet.  Thanks for the response and follow-up.

  • Thanks for the information as you have noticed this is only available for a single model in a single session.  You have to create a new session if you want to update the model.
The PW 365 Review functionality will not have the option to update files as that is reserved for our iTwin Services solutions  (ITwin Design Review), where you can raise Issues using Issues Resolutions and update the models using the various techniques that Joe Granville pointed out.
