Hi, in our workspace, we are using Autocad color table. When I last tried Itwin review the first thing I noticed (and our client) is that all the color were off because they were all converted to microstation color table. It was very difficult for a lot of people to get over this. Even if our Imodel were made with the correct color table when exported the Itwin platform would convert to the microstation color table.
I would like to know if this is something that had been fixed or upgraded before trying it again.
Thanks for your time,
Regards
There is no ACAD color table in iModel. How did you check color table? If you could elaborate a bit of your workflow it may help us understand the issue better.
Hi, I'm working with openroads designer and often we will review both the 3D and 2D parts of the Imodel. When we create Imodel with Openroads, we need to include the 2D parts to get the alignement and profil informations. At the begining of the project we can show the plan view with the alignement and check the profile. The problem is that the color of the plan view (2D) is based with Autocad color table hence always comes with the wrong colors.
I agree that when using only the 3D part of an Imodel the color of the line are less important. But we use both the 2D and 3D.
If you see wrong element color displayed in Design Review, regardless what color table you have in the source file, that could be due to a bug. Can you post a simple source DGN file and let us know how to locate the element in question?
