3D custom linestyles are missing in IFC export even that show correctly in iModel.
Hi Oto,
what is expected output in IFC?
I understand (any) export to IFC as a mapping between source geometry to a proper object in IFC dictionary, plus geometry is provided.
I am not sure what solution would be the best in the case of 3D custom lines style, because it's just linear geometry + a link to the line style definition. To drop it into a general IFC geometry?
With regards,
Jan

Can you please submit this as an SR:

If you can provide a small example of this, we can have development comment.
Thanks,

It shows correctly in iTwin Review but shows as simple line in IFC.
Would be need to drop it to mesh or solid. This has to be done on conversion. This is unexpected as 3D custom lines are well advertised as supported approach for road design furniture and even included in datasets.

Tried https://review.itwin.bentley.com IFC export which generates IFC with some parts missing.
Using https://itwin.bentley.com/project IFC export it generates empty result for any IFC version.
OpenRoads/OpenBuildings IFC export is not good either.
Small example which needs to be converted to IFC without losing geometry. Drop linestyle didn't work it drops to lines not solids.
One is custom line from solids/surface/shapes other is mesh only(works only in v8i)
