Can someone explain how this could be achieved? Or has anyone done similar?
The itwin gives the option of adding a new layer via "Type" and "map source URL". It would be great to add this into our iTwin for the general 3D environment context.
"Types" such as
Example of some web based services that give the 3d context I am looking for:
https://labs.os.uk/public/os-data-hub-examples/os-vector-tile-api/vts-example-3d-buildings
https://demo.f4map.com/#lat=53.4083300&lon=-2.9784272&zoom=17&camera.theta=65.913&camera.phi=63.312
At the moment all I have is Bing Maps as viewable in my iTwin.
The next question would be can co-ordinate system translation be done via these web-based services?
Thanks
Hi Stuart,Not within Design Review (we can only add GIS backgrounds and reality data)https://www.itwinjs.org/sandboxes/iTwinPlatform/Global%20Display andhttps://www.itwinjs.org/sandboxes/MichelDastous/google_maps_backgroundshow to change the background with the iTwin viewerIf you have a key you can plug the code in the OS example into a viewer and have it working. Do not create a sample unless you want to change your key very quickly.
As you are aware with Design Review you can view OpenStreetMaps buildings.
For WMS and ArcGIS
and Add Layer

Please could you explain the steps needed to do this?
I only have the option to "add layer" for Map Layers and using either ArcGIS, WMS, WMTS
I am presuming that the option would be WMS then specifying a specific URL via a 3rd party viewer?
Do you have the WMS site you want to view ?
Isn't these the same OSM 3D buildings?
