Hi,
in iTwin Synchronizer GUI, several projects PWR_<GUID> are displayed in the list of available projects. They do not exist in my ProjectWise Projects and I also have not been able to find the GUIDs anywhere.
Where these projects come from and can they be deleted (removed from the list)?
With regards,
Jan
The picker should only show projects that you are a team member of.
I think the CONNECT Web page you showed is your "Favorite" projects. When you click "My Projects", do you see a larger list with those other projects shown?
One way to work backwards, would be to select one of those PWR projects in the Syncrhonizer, and then check %LOCALAPPDATA%\Bentley\Logs\iTwinSynchronizer.log. Towards the bottom should be a line that says
{"logLevel":0,"category":"iTwinSynchronizer.AppState","message":"onProjectSelected: *** (***)"},
The value in parentheses is the GUID of the project. You can then copy/paste that GUID to the end of the URL connect.bentley.com/.../index to view the project in the browser.
Hi Jeff,
thanks for your quick reaction!

No, it's opposite:
The difference (missing in My Projects) is a project I created to test ProjectWise 365 free access.

That's great advice!
Using the log files, I identified the listed projects are iTwin Design Review (ad hoc workflow) projects:
These projects are not visible in my ProjectWise Projects (but can be manually entered using GUID in URL ;-).
In iTwin Synchronizer, not name or description is displayed, plus closed review sessions are displayed. In fact, the project name IS USED correctly, because when Review project properties are displayed, PWR_<GUID> is filled as both name and description. Where "user friendly" project name comes from I have no idea.
Honestly, I do not understand how iTwin Design Review is (or is intended to be) included in workflow. The split between subscription and ProjectWise account makes it even more confusing.
Anyway: I am not sure whether the projects should be displayed. Can be these projects (especially when created as ad hoc, without subscription) updated by iTwin Syncrhonizer?

The next application update will hide iTwin Design Review projects; sorry for the inconvenience.

As long as the findings are identified and scheduled to be fixed, I am fine :-)
P.S. It seems it has been my hobby to find something to be reported in every release...
