Hi,
using iTwin Synchronizer 1.1.50, completely new project, new iModel etc.
I created synchronization definition and assigned an empty file, just created in MicroStation CE U14, to this definition. To finish the definition, 3 iModelBridges were required to be installed: MicroStation, civil and building.
Why all 3, representing > 7 GB occupied on disk, are required?
For this specific (mostly testing) project, I know that nothing than MicroStation elements and features will be required.
Regards,
Jan
Are you sure they were required? Two scenarios I can think of... if you had 0 bridges already installed, we were merely recommending all *.dgn bridges because all we have to go on is the file extension. Picking just the MicroStation bridge should have been sufficient. Second, if you already those 3 bridges installed, we will require that the bridges be up-to-date (also, based on file extension). This is to ensure proper assignment of bridges to files... for example, the detection logic may improve over time.

Yes, they seems to be.

I tried it again:

Unfortunately it seems it's not. I do not like the situation when there are > 6 GB of disk space wasted by 2 unused bridges.

I see a recent regression that is needlessly causing all bridges for a given default file extension to be installed. We'll get that fixed.

We just released version 1.1.60 which should address this issue.
thanks for updating the status.
I tried it and I can confirm it works now as expected: For simple DGN, selected bridge (MicroStation) is installed only.
Thanks for fixing the issue,
