New materials are not added to an existing iModel

A recent improvement to the connectors adds support for additional material data to be imported into the iModel. However due to current limitations, this new material information will not be processed into existing iModels, but they are with newly created iModels.

• To work-around this limitation, we recommend to unmap the source file and map it back to initiate full iModel reprocessing. Read more about the unmap procedure here https://communities.bentley.com/products/digital-twin-cloud-services/itwin-services/w/synchronization-wiki/51447/edit-a-connection.
• Note that if you are using a Version Compare with the contents of the model to be unmapped, all elements in the file will appear as new elements when doing version compare on change sets from before the unmap to after the re-import.
