I have 2 cables (see attached screen shot). Each has three terminals jumpered. Since the terminals have to be in this set order the jumper lines overlap each other. Is there any way to set the second jumper and so on so that they are not overlapping without manually moving one set outside the other? (as shown in the second screen shot) Physically moving these jumpers only works until the next update of the drawing.
Hi Larry. Does increasing the Jumper interval value on Project Options > Wiring Diagram Settings > Cable Diagrams help?
Hi Matt,
Has this issue been resolved? I'm currently having the same issue. I've tried increasing the Jumper Interval and Offset to CP but no luck.
Thanks
John, the ineffective Offset To CP setting is a known issue but not resolved. Since I was not able to reproduce the overlapping jumper issue and never received files to investigate, it has not been addressed. Would you be able to create a project backup (please enable the "Create Project Catalog" option) and upload the backup per the Communities Secure File Upload article?
Sure thing, I've uploaded via secure file upload. Please see "TB1." on the wiring diagram. My "Jumper interval" and "Offset to CP" is 0.2, you can see that the wire jumpers are still overlapped. Thanks!
Thanks John. After looking at your project I can now see that I was not able to see the issue because I was focusing on the behavior of clip jumper representation on cable diagrams, whereas you and the original poster Larry are talking about wire jumpers. To be clear, wire jumpers are wires connecting I and E connection points on terminals, clip jumpers are where J connection points on terminals are connected. Clip jumper representation is part of cable diagrams. Wire jumper representation is unrelated to cable diagrams and so are not affected by cable diagram settings. I was not aware of this wire jumper representation feature before, and have not found any settings that affect it. I'm not sure when it was introduced, but it was not always in the software. I'm consulting product management about it and will let you know what I find out.
Thanks Matt. At the moment we are manually offsetting the wire jumper lines, as we have noticed that they are not "logic" lines and don't seem to affect the schematics when moving them.
