We are working in multiple locations and attempting to work to the same project file. If I send a .prj file to a user remote from me - the remote users can't open the project because it requires first that the backup be restored to allow opening in promise-e and the backup was never at that location. What is the method to manage and share project files across remote offices?
Hi Steve. A prj file is a backup of a project made using the Project Manager. If you send that file to another location, they would use the Restore command in their Project Manager to open that file. It would not matter which location took the backup. The only thing that should matter is that you are both using the same version of software.
Thank you Tani -
