New Installation

I just installed version 08.11.13.96 on my machine. On my older version of promise, I had two setup configurations. One for my local machine and one when I was in the office and connected to the network database.

The local configuration works ok. When I try and connect to the network database, I get the attached message that the password is not correct. The database password has not changed. What is my next step here?

  • Hi Ken. If other users are also not able to connect to the network database, or you cannot connect using SQL Server Management Studio, I would check to make sure the SQL service is running on that server and nothing has changed with respect to firewalls, etc.

    Did you type in the password? Or is this happening after replacing the Setup.xml file with the one from your previous version?
