Moving objects

Hi Philipp,

Click on the Element Selection command highlighted in the image below. You should be able to select things back again.



Currently you have the move command selected, so you can move the already selected elements, but are unable to select any new elements.

That is exactly what I am trying to do. Moving the two marked cable trays with the "move" command.
But I can't,  is it possible I activated some different moving mode?

Edit:  I was in the Equipment drawing and attempted to move the cable trays, thank you Sarvesh for the the reply

Hi Philipp. Do I understand correctly that ultimately the problem was that you had and equipment DGN file open, and this file had a raceway DGN file attached as a reference, and that you were unable to move cable trays because they reside in the raceway DGN? 

If so, then yes, that explains the behavior you were seeing. To move the cable trays you have two options:

• Open the DGN file containing the cable tray (the raceway DGN file), or
• Activate the raceway DGN file reference while the equipment DGN file is open, then Deactivate the raceway DGN file when finished.
  

Yes that is exactly what I was trying to do.
Thank you for giving me an alternative, so I don't have to switch to the raceway drawing.
