Hi Guys
We recently upgraded our SQL Server from Express to the Full Version. The Bentley Substation Software has been reconfigured and everything is working fine except that i cannot add/edit items in the Parts Database Manager. Initially when i open the Parts DB Manager everything is grayed out.
If i click the next arrow the items not appear grayed out anymore but i still cannot edit or add.
If i try to make any changes now and select the apply button the following error is displayed. "Operation must use an updateable query"
Does anyone have an idea as to why this error is occurring?

Hi Mohammad,Are you using a SQL Parts Database or a MDB one ?If the Parts Database is a MDB one, where is it stored? Do you have write permissions to that directory? I get the same behavior when using an .mdb file that has been set to Read-only for my parts database, so I recommend making sure you have read, write, and create permissions on the folder as Sarvesh suggested and read/write permission on the file.
