Has anyone come across the following?
I'm using Bentley product 'Promis.e' (Version Details below).
Upon using the 'Modify' button (via Project Manager) on right clicking on one of my .dgns, I accidentally moved off-sheet (removed completely) the Heading (next to 'Name' as attached, poorly highlighted in red! - Named 'entry' as shown attached below, from the Manual, page 30/130 of pdf, [picture of form box 28/130 of pdf] Under 'New Page Dialog' section) to enable me to enter the 'Page Description' for that sheet using Promis.e (I drag and dropped the heading) I quickly noticed the mouse icon changing to an 'X', but I accidently let go! Does anyone know how I would get it back? Do I need to reinstall Promis.e again? Or modify my .upf/user file, is there possibly a reset command within the Menu for this issue? or a right click option to restore Promis.e headings?
Note: I believe you can have this issue with a number of scenarios, i.e. moving headings off-sheet, not just the "Project Manager, 'Modify' form box" i.e. I think I can also remove the Device ID heading e.g. Part Number.
I have since closed Promis.e and tried to see if it restored, but there must be a setting that remembers these type of settings.
I remember I asked this from the Promis.e Fundamentals V8I (Select Series 7) Training I had a while back (21st-23rd March 2018), I believe the Trainers name is Lawrence. but I may have not written down the solution.
Please advise if you require further information to assist.

Hi Ben, As you mentioned above , you are not able to enter the description in the Page Descriptions (refer the below image)Please try to Restore Defaults . Good News and Bad News...
I successfully performed the "Restore Platform Defaults - Promis.e" and got the "Defaults restored. Press any key to Exit." at the end.
And yes, all my personal setting got restored e.g. I used to pin 'Element Information' on the right, and after restore defaults, 'Element Information' was in the middle (among other tool boxes) at Promis.e Start-up, which proved something did happen.
BUT - Unfortunately my "ENTRY" heading on the 'Modify Dialogue Box' (as above) on Project Manager is still missing.
It seems very easy to remove headings (i.e. X shows up once dragged away from the Dialogue Box), but seems more tricky to restore.
Any further Advice, would be most appreciated.

Thank you for your update.As mentioned software is not able to create App data folder for Promise software.We are able to recreate your issue and By deleting App data folder, setting get restore.So please try to reinstall the software and let me know whether you are able repair the software or not.Regards,Avanti
Hi Ben,I was able to reproduce the issue and resolve it by Changing the Default Project Option and then Rename the App Data folder. You can changer the default Project Option form Project Manager > Setup > System Path >Project Option Profile. and select different Project Option file according to your Setup Configuration IEC / ANSI IEEE. Then you can Renaming the Application Data Per user folder as per the below image reference (Close Promis.e before deleting the folder).You have mentioned that you cant see any Promise V8i folder. It seems my PC login had 2 similar users that I recognised, so the initial AppData folder, there was no 'Promise V8i' folder - But I looked again at the User Folder, and found my actual login name, probably should have confirmed from My computer!. So then, I renamed 'Promise V8i' folder to ..'Promise V8iold', then re-opened Promis.e and confirmed the "Entry" heading is now back!
I wonder if easier to modify one of the .xml files in the 'Promise V8i' folder? Compare to deleting? I.e. not really sure what user settings i had in the ..'old' Promis.e folder. One of the settings would be I don't have "Entry" heading haha!! But wondering what is this folder user for?

Hi Ben,Thank you for the update,Glad to know that the your issue is resolved on your side by Deleting / Renaming the Promis.e V8i folder in User App Data Roaming. In the User Application Data folder are files that have details to some of your last used per user configuration / defaults. For the issue you were facing the changes you had made for the Dialog was saved in the above folder and after deleting / renaming the Promis.e creates the files again with Default setting in them.
