Wire Links automatically renumbering

We've had a recurring incident where all wire links have automatically renumbered themselves back to the default tags Lxx. This is happened to the same user before on another project. Other uses have also reported similar behavior.

We typically tag these as 24V+A1, 24V+A2 etc.

Ive confirmed with the user that no pages have been moved or copy and no renumbering (re sequence IDs) has taken place, this has just randomly happened.

Bringing up the "Resequence Wire Link" window, shows Wire Link L19 has wire 919487 connected, however in the background you'll see it has wire 102 connected.

Is anyone able to offer any information on what might be causing this?

I've uploaded a backup of the project to:

Kind Regards

  • Hello Adam,

We don't understand without Pages being Moved or  Renamed  you need to rename  Wink Link IDs by  Right Click  on Wire link IDs and Select Wire link option, Here you can change wire link tags which are available there but you need check Wire Link Usage also .

wire link tags can search also and place whichever is available or valid to place.

Please update us whether this helpful for you or not.

  • Hello Avanti,

As per my original post "We've had a recurring incident where all wire links have automatically renumbered themselves back to the default tags Lxx. This is happened to the same user before on another project. Other uses have also reported similar behavior. ".

This means all our wire links we're numbered differently, and upon opening the page they have renumbered automatically back to Lxx.

We are not sure why we have seen this a few times before?
