Hello,
I am using BRCM CONNECT for a new project I'm working on, and I have a situation where the main trench in the switchyard branches off into a smaller trench leading to the equipment. The main trench has internal dimensions of 1000mm x 1000mm and the smaller trench, internal dimensions which are 750mm x 750mm needs to connect to the main trench via a tee connection.
Ideally, I would like to have a tee connection branching off the main (larger) trench with dimensions that match the smaller trench so the overall trench will appear more realistic.
Any suggestions on how I should go about this?
Thank you.
Hi Kesigan,You can try using Place Part and place T with a Reducing / Expanded Tee, where you can enter the width of the branch an then route the Trench according to your required dimension.Hope the above suggestion helps for the issue you are facing.Regards,Satish Saptasagar
Hi Satish,
I tried this tool and it works great when the depth of the trenches are equal, but when the depths are different there is a gap between the different depths which I was hoping would not be there. I think the problem is there is no depth variable for the reducing/expanding tee.
Thanks.
