OpenPlant Modeler CE update4
When updating valves, topworks 'disappear'....
Updating a component from same spec, where data changed in spec.
Also tried 'bmech rebuild all' , did not update component.
Is this intended? As I remember this worked fine in v8i
Hi Peter,
what changes you have done to get the topworks using rebuild all command?
Prior version was not featured with this command but in U4 it is. You may test other cases to realize this key-in. As this is more related to Spec validation issue.
Refer one similar wiki with v8i for your reference -

Main concern here is TopWorks disappearing. In the example the valve obviously had wrong data in spec. Tried replacing it 'with itself', hereby updating dimensions of the valve from spec. In this case valve updated, but topworks disappeared.
I know I am late to the discussion, but I am facing the same problem at the moment. Has there ever been a solution to that problem, except from placing new topworks on every valve which had to be updated?

As we discussed in our call I filed a service request for this, Harshavardhan. (SrvReqNo:[7001050359])Also I would like to leave a link to the wiki we spoke about, which shows how to check for changes in the spec and do an update for specific values. Maybe this helps future users which run into the problem.
