As a microstation used of 10 years plus, would I need a course to learn promis.E or is it fairly intuitive ?
I would recommend taking at least the basic promis.e course so you get an understanding of some typical workflows and how the data (projects, symbols, part number records, etc.) work together. Being very familiar with MicroStation, you might automatically approach a task differently and run into trouble. For example, all page and project management should be performed through the Project Manager; if File > Open or File > New is used, promis.e will not treat the design file as a project page.
I am running the stand alone version. I have used Microstation fo over 20 years and loved it. I am working for the first time with Promis.e. I am working through Project Manger, but nothing seems to work the way the "help" portion shows.
