The per-user application data folder stores information related to individual users' preferences as modified via the promis•e interface. This path cannot be altered.
Note: The "Application Data" and "AppData" folders are normally hidden. The "Show hidden files and folders" option must be enabled in Windows' Folder Options in order to find the paths described below.
The per-user application data folder and its contents are generally recreated at promis•e startup if renamed or deleted. This technique can be used when corruption is suspected.
Substitute "(A)" for "(M)" in the following paths if using promis•e for AutoCAD.
Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\(current login)\Application Data\Bentley\promis-e V8i(M)
Alternatively:
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Bentley\promis-e V8i(M)
Windows Vista & Windows 7:
C:\Users\(current login)\AppData\Roaming\Bentley\promis-e V8i(M)
