Unused report templates can be removed from the list on Run Reports. Doing so will also reduce the amount of time it takes for the Run Reports dialog to appear as the software will have to scan through fewer report template files in order to categorize them.
Use Windows Explorer to copy the report template folder determined in step 1. Rename the copy of the folder to "Reports Backup"
Use Windows Explorer to open the report template folder determined in step 1.
Delete any report template that is never used. Report template files will have a .rpt extension. For example, users that only use the ANSI-IEEE standard could delete all the "- Drawing (metric).rpt" files. Similarly, IEC-only users could delete all the "- Drawing (inch).rpt" files. If reports are only printed to Letter size sheets, delete the "- A4.rpt" templates.
If a deleted report template is later found to be needed, simply copy the corresponding .rpt file from the "Reports Backup" folder to the report template path.
