Background

The Graphical Plan Template Designer is used to create and modify templates for use with the [[Run Graphical Plan]] tool.

To open the Graphical Plan Template Designer tool

* is used to denote a menu selection that is not necessary in some versions or platforms.

For Bentley Substation CONNECT Edition

• Select Output ribbon tab > Graphical Plan group > Graphical Plan Designer
• Function key shortcut: F2 > O > RT
  • If the Output ribbon tab is already the active tab: F3 > RT

• Select Manage > *Template Management > Graphical Plan Designer
• Key-in: ECAD EXEC GPVARIABLE
• Key-in for promis.e for AutoCAD: ECAD_EXEC_GPVARIABLE

• Select Configure > *Output Templates > Graphical Plan Designer
• Key-in: ECAD EXEC GPVARIABLE
• Key-in for promis.e for AutoCAD: ECAD_EXEC_GPVARIABLE

• Select Elec-Tools > Graphical Plan Template Designer
