Duplicates in database.

Hello,

I'm working on an XFM project with spatial database and it seems that I have dublettes in DB.

When I qurey features in BentleyMap, I can see that some features are locked and probably are duplicates.

Is there way in BentleyMap to check for database duplicates and to delete them?

  • Hello Deniss,

    Sorry for this late reply.

It's possible that you have some remnant features from another session in a dgn file. Please analyze element to check the unique ID value for the graphical features to see if they are in fact the same db row. IE duplicates only in the dgn. If that's the case it shouldn't be happening and you might need to start with a new dgn if the duplicate graphical features won't delete or erase in the dgn. We'd be interested in a workflow to reproduce this.

If the features have different unique IDs but look like or are the same graphical element (IE duplicates in the db) then that is another matter, and would probably involve an SQL solution on the Oracle side if you want to do some cleaning up.
