I used Bentley Geospatial Administrator to create a user and feature definitions. Everytime I have exported the user workspace on somebody's elses computer his or her connection with projectwise stops working in Microstation, Power InRoads, and Bentley Map. They can open dgn files with the user and everything will work properly but they cannot access projectwise any more. Has anybody else run into this bug?

I was not aware that there was a pw.cfg file. That explains a lot. All of the other users on the computer are loading the pw.cfg but I never told the user I created to load this configuration file. Where would I get information on a pw.cfg file and whether I add to the macros or files part of my user workspace?
the PW.cfg file should be placed in the /appl folder. this should be a standard place to put it. If it is not there on the users computer, then I would be questioning if they have a valid PW Explorer install ???
The settings need to be done in ProjectWise and not in Bentley Geospatial. Once the project and its users workspaces has been added via ProjectWise Administrator (on server) , then you must assign the appropriate managed workspaces to the folder. All file under the folder must open with the assigned user workspace. I do not know this procedure in details and I hope someone will have some inputs about it since I am looking to make it works on my side. I hope that helps a little. Best regards,
