Hi all,
After some fieldwork with a Trimble GPS device, i postprocessed everything in Trimble Pathfinder Office software and exported the dataset to a dgn-file.Upon opening this file in Bentley Map Enterprise, i notice that all datapoints are "points" in Bentley Map, and that the meta-data (like precision, HDOP,...) is stored in "tags" within the Point-element.Now i'm trying to convert these Points into XFM-features while maintaining the meta-data.Is there a way to convert a point with tags into a point-cell with attributes?
I already have the Geospatial Administrator set up with matching named attributes.
Thanks in advance!Maxim Broos

Hey Sebastien,
Thank you so much for taking the time to look into this problem.I have uploaded an archive with as much information as i can give you: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dd34wax5s4dn6t4/MAXIM_BROOS_GEO_FORUM.zip?dl=0In case you need any more details about our workflow or settings, i'm more than happy to provide.I have a basic understanding of MVBA, so the solution you are working on can have some hard coded elements, that might change depending on data-inputs or Level Names.
Once again, thank you for your help and we're looking forward to your reply,
Kind regards,
Maxim Broos
Please open the attached design file, run “Load All” in the Data Browser and let me know if you this is close to what you are looking for. We modified our example tags2xfm.mvba to be a bit more generic after reviewing the provided data (schema, design file and included tags sets). We also noticed the provided schema has feature class definitions that have database properties. We wonder however if you would actually prefer to use standard XFMDGN persistence of this data (e.g. not requiring to place the data into a database) ?
