Support for WMTS

WMTS is not supported in MicroStation. And unfortunately it seems it will be also not supported in MicroStation CONNECT Edition ... at least doesn't work in the current EAP2 testing version.

To bad. The Norwegian Mapping Authority delivers both WMS and WMTS maps, but the WMS has a daily limit of 300 views/calls to the server. The WMTS has a limit of 10000 views/calls.

Ah yes I see it. Seem to happen mainly with the window zoom. Not sure what is going on, the server seems often to not able to return anything (a lot of crossed old camera pictures).

I'll forward your problem to some colleagues, since I have no idea what is going on.

Where is the Use Independent parameter located? Is it in the preferences, raster manager, map, or is it a configuration variable? Thanks!

I would like to add that the WMS works better in Windows 7 vs. Windows 10 for resolving the tiles in Raster Manager. In Windows 10, during a troubleshooting session, I ran the Telerik Fiddler app to check for errors and now the 'crossed old camera' do not appear. And of course there are no errors to check since the tiles are being delivered\updated. The USDA WMS works with or without the Fiddler program but when using the OnTerra WMS, on Windows 10 machines, the Fiddler has to be launched prior to MicroStation in order for the tiling to work. Any insight on this would be appreciated.
