Connect Geodatabase

Jan Slegr

If I used national coordinate system (example: VN2000 UTM Zone 48N or WGS 1984 UTM Zone 48N), I can connect successfully to geodatabase. Unfortunately, when I used the local coordinate system (example: VungTau – VN – 2000) I don’t know why it couldn’t connect to geodatabase.

So far, I am using ArcGIS 10.2.2 and i don’t know exactly which version Bentley Map support for that.

I send to you file geodatabase. It content local coordinate system for that. Please verify it for me.

Sincerely!

Hi,

Amy Nguyen
But I can't do it.

What does it mean?

Your question is like "My car doesn't go. I have Chrysler. Where is a problem?" As you can expect, it's not possible to answer such general question otherwise than also on a general level, which is usually not very valuable.

Please share more information and details, e.g.:

  • Is there any error message (dialog or in Message Center) displayed?
  • In what step the process doesn't work? During the connection definition or when features are queriedor in some different step?
  • What is a version of your geodatabase (in what ESRI product it was created)?
  • Is the problem specific for one particular geodatabase or to any you have tried?
  • etc...

With regards,

  Jan
