While my company embarks on a project to change to Bentley Map, our legacy PowerMap V8 version needs updating quickly to the V8i SS1 version for Windows 7 compatibility, to get those users off Windows XP.
I have migrated most of the Workspace but encountered an issue where the Key-In "attach maps" does not exist in the v8i version, MAPMAN replaced with GEOMAPMAN.
Is there any way to replicate the key-in so I do not have to develop new configurations and MVBA/Macros?

I agree, but in my opinion the threat of the misinformation is not very high. If the potential customer is interested in GIS solution, he will be guided to information about Bentley Map, not Bentley PowerMap. And Bentley Map is the current product. And in Bentley Map information the user will find more about Bentley Map Enterprise and Bentley Map PowerView editions.
My experience is more often problem (mostly in the past) was existing users were not aware Bentley Map V8i (SELECTseries 1) and Bentley Map V8i (SELECTseries 2) and newer are not the same products from sales point of view. And because of that they require different license.

Rephrasing the original question:
PowerMap used to provide a command ATTACH MAPS, implemented in app. MapMan. That app. has vanished in PowerMap V8i, apparently replaced by app. GeoMapMan.

Jan is correct. No VBA wrappers are provided for the Bentley Map C API functions. The most commonly used Bentley Map functionality, including the XFM data modeling engine is provided in the XFT (XFM Feature Toolkit) COM object. Use of other Bentley Map C API functions in a VBA application would require development of your own VBA wrappers.

I can offer assistance. Which of the following ATTACH MAPS modes where you using?
As previously stated the Map Manager in Bentley Map is substantially different than the MicroStation GeoGraphics functionality.
