Did it work better with the uncompressed version of the file ?

We currently do not support the compress version of a ESRI File Geodatabase (FGDB). It has been logged in our system. It has been logged in our internal tracking system and will go under review by our product management team.

I do have the same issue. I am new to Bentley Map entirely but is working on SS4 release. I've downloaded an ESRI file from the state of WI. They provided two type of file. One that is compress and one that is uncompress. At the moment the compress file is the one that is given this problem. Waiting to see what will happen to the uncompress file.

Send it to me via private email at sebastien.cote@bentley.com. 4.65 MB should be ok, otherwise I'm going to give you instruction to copy it to FTP.

Hello Michelle,

As far as I know we never dealt with this error trying to import an ESRI .gdb file. We currently don't deal with unusual caracter and accent, but this is already logged in our internal tracking system.

I would refer you first to the help documentation that talks about "Working with Esri File Geodatabase" Under the "Working with Spatial Databases" category.

If you don't see any obvious reason why you are not able to import it we will need your file to troubleshoot your issue.
