Bentley Map Mobile Publisher seems not to be willing to integrate into Bentley Map SS4 build 614

...thank you Erik for that update. It is good to know that you solved the problem and what had caused the issue.

Solution Found !!

By testing with the standard workspace that comes along with the install of Bentley Map I could conclude that it was something in our current workspace that prevented the MapMobilePublisher to appear in the File menu.

By comparing the WorkSpace/Configuration from inside the two setup of Bentley map I found that this set up:
$(MOBILE_PUBLISHER_DIR)Interfaces\MapPublisher.dgnlib
was missing in the MS_GUIDGNLIBLIST .

Reason: An added dgnlib was set with a '=' instead of a '>' thus overwriting all that previous was set to that config variable.
Small error with a big consequence !!

Done that -same result :-(

After uninstalling the Publisher I checked that MapMobilePublisher has removed it self totally from the Bentley section in "Program Files"
Then reinstalled MapMobilPublisher. Checked that it had placed it self under MapStandalone V8i.
Opened Bentley map SS4 -no "Publish for Map..."
Ran the Activate Wizard placed in the MapMobilePublisher\assemblies
..still no "Publish for Map.."

I cannot find any setting in the Registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/bentley that referes to MapMobilePublisher

I would recommend that you uninstall/reinstall Bentley Map Mobile Publisher 05.02.01.16 on the Bentley Map V8i (SELECTseries 4) 08.11.09.614 maintenance release. If after that you are still unable to see the expected "File > Publish for Map Mobile..." menu entry then we will need to further diagnose.

I have no Bentley Map Enterprise installed. I removed that for installing the Publisher on the Bentley Map SS4 (Build 507) and I am pretty sure that I had the Publisher on that version this morning. Then I removed the Build 507 and installed the MR1 (Build 614).
I have removed the Publisher and then reinstalled it. And I have run the Activation Wizard

My guess is that something is messed-up in the registry :-(
