Creating A Custom Geographic Coordinate System

I am trying to create a custom geographic coordinate system. I was able to copy the closest system to its own folder, but I am unable to edit the file.

I understood that Bentley Map was now included in OpenRoads SS3, which is what I am using? Do I need Bentley Map?

Second question. Once I figure out how to edit the file, I need to drop the first number off the northing. How do I do that? Which setting should be modified?

  • It's not impossible that we just forget to bring this Bentley Map functionnalities within Civil environment. Will verifiy that on our side to make sure. Meanwhile, if you can copy a GCS, you should be able to edit as well. You can't edit a GCS on the fly if I can permit. That true that we allow you to put your mouse cursor into the field, but those fields are read-only. To edit a GCS, you should right click on it, and select edit as shown in the screen shot below >
