I figured it out. Had to put in 4000000 for the false northing, not negative 4M. Thanks for your assistance!

I finally managed to get it working. I have copied over a similar system and now attempting to modify it. The northings are more than 4 million in the area I am working. I need to drop the 4 off the northings. How would I do that? I need the northing to read out as 800,000 instead of 4, 800, 000. Do I put -4000000 in for the false northing?

It's not impossible that we just forget to bring this Bentley Map functionnalities within Civil environment. Will verifiy that on our side to make sure. Meanwhile, if you can copy a GCS, you should be able to edit as well. You can't edit a GCS on the fly if I can permit. That true that we allow you to put your mouse cursor into the field, but those fields are read-only. To edit a GCS, you should right click on it, and select edit as shown in the screen shot below >

I found the activate Map command. I still cannot edit the coordinate system.

From the provided link, you can have it under the Tools menu as well. Did you verify that ?

I don't have an application drop down. Using Open Roads SS3 and will be upgrading to SS4 today or tomorrow.

Hello Deb,
Did you activate Map within your OpenRoads session ? You do need to do this in order to use Bentley Map functionalities.
