OK, I'm in a 3D model!

Moved to a 2D model and was back in business.

Is this spelled out anywhere? If not, it really needs to be!

Hi,

I have no clue on data model used here, but the Buffer and Overlay are disabled in 3D model.

This is what the menu looks like in the Map Manager, with two Layers Selected. Is this "doing it wrong?"

To do the overlay you select the elements or layers to process first. Then the Overlay menu item will be available. This overlay for the two polygons are then stored on another layer, with geometry, etc. generated by the overlay process. You then select the generated polygon and the polygon you created to generate the second layer, the results being another polygon.
