Got this error message when attempting to connect the Oracle Spatial connection via spatial tools connections in Bentley Map.
This is quite weird to me because I used to do this before without any error: but recently this error occurred

RE: ORA-12170: TNS Connect timeout error

Sebastien,

Though, I do not know what happened, but it is working now; perhaps there were some technicalities that happen to be part of the execution. The good thing is the problem is solved.

Thanks for the support.

Can you please provide screen shot of your connections (GSA and Map). If you can connect to your Oracle DB within the GSA and register the features, and finally run your schema, there is any reason why you could not connect once in Map. There is something somewhere that we don't get.

Do you have a registered connection like the screen shot I've pasted ?
If you try to manually connect, does it work ?

Yes you are right, during the Interoperability connection the error appears.

So you can properly register your features within Bentley Geospatial Administrator. Is that right ?

Once done, you run your workspace and then try to connect thru your registered connection (see screen shot) and it fails. Is that right ?
