If I understand you , you have data from Mapinfo. Are you importing this data into Bentley Map ? and then you review this data in the data browser, right ?

If that is the workflow, then I may suggest looking at the steps I outlined in a earlier post, but when importing the Mapinfo data, set the import featre to be mapped to one of the features you created in the GSA project. Then map the fields from this mapinfo feature to the fields of the GSA feature. here is a blog post that explains the process.

Though it talks about a shapefile, the process is the same for MapInfo files also.

Open the Bentley Map V8i Geo_Example project from the Bentley Map program group in the Start menu. Once you see how the Features and attributes operate together in the MicroStation graphics environment, open that same project using the Geospatial Administrator to review the XML-based Schema, Features, Properties and Methods. You can do this before or after you import the MapInfo data as Jerry suggests.
