Hello.
Does Bentley Map Mobile support polygon transparency?
Regards, Bjorn
Bjorn,
The current Bentley Map Mobile Publisher process uses the actual element symbology that can be set with the feature class definition in the Bentley Geospatial Administrator or through the use of MicroStation tools such as Change Element or Element Information.
Future Bentley Map Mobile Publisher enhancements are planned that will publish element symbology defined "dynamically" with the Map Manager in Bentley Map or Level Symbology in MicroStation.
Regards,
Jeff Bielefeld [Bentley]
Transparency works with raster as shown in the following examples.
Which versions of the following are you using?
Please contact me offline if you would like to provide a sample data set for further investigation.
Thanks Jeff.
How about when you add a raster. In the following picture the red polygon is transparent but you can't see the raster image through it.
There are no special settings required to make it work.

The attached archive contains...
...which illustrates the following where the source transparent1.dgn shows multiple transparent polygons and a single yellow opaque polygon that are all reflected in Bentley Map Mobile shown at the bottom.
Please take a look and let me know if you see similar results. If you would like to contact me offline and provide a test case I would gladly take a closer look.
