Ok. I received some helps and I learned a lot about running in reduced mode and silent mode. Thanks to your post Erik.
So, even in reduced mode, I am still with the finish button with the both builds. In a document I found on community, it said to "click Finish to exit the (...) Setup Wizard". I do not understand why we should click on button in these modes named reduce and silence.
I hope someone else will provide any solution here. We need help.

Erik,
I am not familiar with scripts. Maybe something change between both build with your install/uninstall workflow in the application here ? I am not aware of any change on installation mode.
On my side, I pass through install of Map Standalone 08.11.09.107 and 08.11.09.633 and both asking to click on finish button to complete the process. I cannot explain and bring any solution from here. Sorry Erik.
Please, if no other solution are provided on this forum, do not hesitate to contact your Bentley contact or the support group for deepest investigation.

As far as I remember the last version we rolled out with this script was Bentley Map SS3 built 107

What was the version number of build previously of 633 where not asking to click finish button to complete ?

Thanks for so quick response.

We have used the same installation script (Kix) for many years. Inside this script we call the setup.exe with the flags /qrui.
At installing earlier version of Bentley Map the installation has finished by it self, and the installation script had then continued with the rest of its duties.
Now the installation ends correctly but it does not terminate until somebody pushes the 'Finish' button, so the installation script waits 'for ever'

So no we do not se an additional button. We try to install Bentley Map SS4 built 633 in standalone edition. No we have not tried the .msi file --do you think that will terminate correctly ?
During the installation script we uninstall earlier version of Bentley Map, and here there is no 'hung' --the uninstall finishes and terminates and the script continues to install the new version

I always see a Finish button at the end. Do you mean now you see an additional one? Which Bentley Map edition used here? Standalone? Enterprise? Have you try with .msi file? Sorry for questioning, I try to narrow down the behavior you described and I do not reproduce.
