How to add rotation to Cells when importing SHP files

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this topic,,but here goes

I am importing a shp file (points) as cells,  that have rotation values included in the attributes.  How can I rotate the cells to those values other than using element information and changing the cell angle to the rotation value manually for each one?

  • It seems to me this would be a great option to add to the Interoperability tools (not an option that was added to the first V8i release of Bentley Map, either). Not sure if this idea has been logged somewhere, maybe it should (anybody?). The same would/could apply to importing point features as text.

As opposed to manually rotating each element, some customization would be a viable option. Similar things have been done in the past. Let me know if this would work for you.

    Cheers,
