Hi experts,
We need to have spatial bookmarks functionality in Bentley Map. In the MircoStation help , I found the the write-up for Bookmarks. However, I'm not sure how to access Edit Bookmarks dialog and use it in my dgn.
Appreciate any advice on this.
Kiran.

Hi Jan,
Thanks for the reply.
We have a functionality in ArcMap that allows to save the spatial locations on the map. These can be saved in a map document (mxd file). So, whenever we want to navigate to that location, we just click on that bookmark.
We are looking for a similar functionality in Bentley Map. I found the documentation for it in the help but I'm not sure it is the same I'm looking for and also not being able to figure out how to access it. (screenshot is attached here)
Thanks once again,

No, it's very different functionality: It allows to store URLs to remote file that can be attached as references.

I guess you can use Saved Views to receive similar functionality: If a saved view is created (it's a standard MicroStation tool, not specific to Bentley Map), all parameters of a view are stored. Anytime later you can use these information (Apply Saved View) to return the chosen view to the saved state. An advantage is that only limited settings separated into several groups can be applied. If you switch them all off and will use only camera position, it will work as "change/move this view to the stored coordinates".
With regards,
Jan
Hello Jan, It helped. I tested Saved Views and seems it can be used as an alternative for spatial bookmarks. Appreciate your help. Thanks, Kiran.
