I am currently getting a MicroStation crash issue when trying to active Map.
I have MicroStation 08.11.09.832 and Geopak Suite 08.11.09.872 installed on Win 10 machine. The .dgn file I am using is blank, no entities, no references, a brand new file. I am also using the delivered workspace - not a custom workspace.
Any help will be appreciated.

The upgrade process on my personal computer was, 1. Remove Geopak Suite 08.11.09.845, 2. Remove MicroStation 08.11.09.714, 3. Install MicroStation 08.11.09.832, 4. Install Geopak Suite 08.11.09.872. I did not remove the remaining files or folders after uninstall was complete. Are you recommending that the remaining MicroStation and Geopak files\folders be removed after an uninstall? If so, why is this not listed in the read me file that comes with the install files? If you are recommending that the remaining files be removed that would be a hard sell because if a user has other Bentley software installed that integrates with MicroStation then the user is basically breaking the other Bentley software. To properly cleanup the remaining files\folders a user would need to remove all Bentley software, cleanup, and then install all Bentley software that was removed. Not going to happen in the production world. If a cleanup of the remaining files\folders is recommended then it should be included in the uninstall process. As a side note I have a test computer that has a fresh install of Win 10 Enterprise with all current updates, I installed MicroStation 08.11.09.714 and Geopak Suite 08.11.09.872 and the crash happens all the time I try to activate Map.
I edited this post as the organization I work for decided to use Win 10 Enterprise and not Win 10 Enterprise N. The N version removes all media content from Win 10.
